WCISD supports a family-like atmosphere serving approximately 340 students. Our purpose is to lead our children to success by providing a challenging curriculum with varied learning opportunities to meet the needs of all our students. We are committed to providing a variety of programs and academic options to our students, with career tech opportunities and advanced academic courses, as well as a dual credit partnership with South Plains College.

Our elementary embraces an outdoor learning classroom with annual learning experiences that include science and social studies explorations at the Wildlife Refuge in Muleshoe, Palo Duro Canyon, and Carlsbad Caverns. We pride ourselves on a safe learning environment that will nurture creativity and individuality, with a program or opportunity to meet the interests and learning needs of all students.
