We are so excited for 2 of our Whiteface Band Members to travel to New York for the Macy's Day Parade!!! This is such an honor!
Bhrett Driver is a senior drum major for the Whiteface High School Marching Band. He plays 1st trumpet and in his marching career has had the opportunity to march at the 1A UIL State Marching Competition in 2021 and 2023, making finals both years. 2024 Whiteface made 2A Area marching finals placing 5th, and in his senior year they put on The Greatest Show, once again advanced to area in 2A and made the top 10.
Bhrett has been a member of the ATSSB All Region Band in 2023 and 2024, the ATSSB Honor Band in 2025. Bhrett has attended the Texas State Solo and Ensemble competition 5 times in his high school music career, and now he has earned his spot in the 99th Macy’s Day Parade In New York City on November 27, 2025.
Bhrett auditioned in January for the opportunity to be a part of the High School All American band and was contacted in March with a letter of Congratulations welcoming him into the band in The Macy's Great American Marching Band for the 99th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Honoring America's finest high school musicians, color guard members and dancers, this band will be composed of select students from across the United States.
Keeley Timmons is a junior sousa/tuba/section leader for the Whiteface High School Marching Band. The band is under the direction of Dr. Richard Good, Auburn University, Mr. Alex Shive, Cass High School, Percussion Director, Mr. Bart Woodley of WGI, Flag Instructor, and Ms. Kailene Laga, Dance Instructor. This staff is also assisted by several talented music educators from across the country who serve as section instructors for the winds and percussion and assist in teaching the music, Herald Square drill and parade formation. The 185 musicians will be complemented by approximately 40 flags and dancers.
Millions of spectators along the Macy’s Parade route will be thrilled by Drew Baldridge; Matteo Bocelli; Colbie Caillat; Ciara; Gavin DeGraw; Meg Donnelly; Mr. Fantasy; Foreigner; Debbie Gibson; Mickey Guyton; Christopher Jackson; Jewel; Lil Jon; Kool & the Gang; Darlene Love; Roman Mejia; Taylor Momsen; Tiler Peck; Busta Rhymes; Calum Scott; Shaggy; Lauren Spencer Smith; Luísa Sonza; and Teyana Taylor. Additionally, Nikki DeLoach; U.S. Olympian Ilia Malinin; Kristoffer Polaha; U.S Paralympian Jack Wallace; and special correspondent Sean Evans will make appearances.
The 99th Macy’s Parade lineup will feature more than 5,000 volunteers, 32 balloons, 3 ballonicles, 27 floats, 4 specialty units, 33 clown groups, 11 marching bands, performance groups and music’s biggest stars, all welcoming Santa Claus and the holiday season.
